The hike will be Rs 75,000 for the first year and Rs 75,000 for the second year. This means the students will now pay Rs 5.25 lakh in the first year and Rs 5.75 lakh in the second year. IIM-B is increasing the fee as it is bearing an additional cost due to the wage increases and increased pension. It was also taking up the construction of hostels, classrooms and staff quarters to accommodate the increase in reserved seats.
